Hi, I’m Dr. Annette Vielleux.
You may be used to being the capable one—the person who holds everything together. Yet beneath that competence, you may feel disconnected from yourself, uncertain about what you truly want, or caught in patterns you understand but still can’t seem to change.
You deserve a psychologist who can meet the full complexity of your experience—without reducing you to symptoms, dismissing your spiritual life, or asking you to leave important parts of yourself outside the room. That is the kind of space I work to create.
What Working With Me Feels Like
You don’t need to arrive with perfect words, a clear explanation, or certainty about what should happen next. My role isn’t to tell you what your experience means or steer you toward a predetermined answer. Together, we become curious about the patterns underneath what you’re feeling—while paying close attention to your pace, your boundaries, and what helps you remain connected to yourself.
Deep, but Never Forced
We can go beneath the surface without rushing past the parts of you that need more time. Depth doesn’t mean pushing you to disclose, relive, or resolve something before you’re ready. We slow down, listen to hesitation, and allow trust to develop.
Clinically Grounded, Open to Mystery
I bring specialized training in trauma, dissociation, assessment, and hypnosis—and I also understand that not every meaningful experience fits neatly inside a diagnosis. We can make room for both what psychology helps us understand and what feels spiritually meaningful to you.
Why I Chose This Work
For more than a decade, I have worked with adults whose experiences didn’t fit simple explanations—particularly those living with complex trauma, dissociation, and deeply established patterns that had been misunderstood or missed.
Again and again, I met people who could explain their histories and recognize their patterns, yet still felt disconnected from themselves or unable to create lasting change. I also saw how easily meaningful spiritual experiences could be dismissed, pathologized, or separated from the rest of a person’s healing.
That shaped the way I practice today. I bring together depth-oriented psychotherapy, specialized trauma and dissociation expertise, psychological assessment, hypnosis, and openness to spiritual meaning. My goal is to offer care that is discerning enough to recognize clinical complexity and spacious enough to honor the whole person experiencing it.

Beyond the Therapy Room
Outside the office, I’m a mother of four who feels most grounded in nature, meaningful conversation, and the small moments that bring a busy life back into focus. I’m endlessly curious about psychology, spirituality, dreams, symbolism, and the many ways human beings make meaning from their experiences.
I bring that same curiosity into my work: warm, thoughtful, occasionally playful, and never afraid of complexity.
You don’t have to know exactly where to begin.
If something here feels familiar, we can start with a consultation and determine whether psychotherapy, a Private Therapy Deep Dive, psychological assessment, or another resource would best support you.
