DIAGNOSTIC EVALUATIONS FOR TRAUMA & DISSOCIATIVE DISORDERS
Specialized Clinical Assessments • Virtual Across Wisconsin • In-Person in Burlington, WI
If you’ve felt misunderstood, mislabeled, or “hard to diagnose,” you’re in the right place.
When symptoms overlap, feel confusing, or haven’t responded to traditional therapy, a specialized diagnostic evaluation can finally bring clarity.
Why Seek a Diagnostic Evaluation?
Many clients come to this service searching questions like:
“Do I have a dissociative disorder or something else?”
“Why don’t my past diagnoses explain what I’m experiencing?”
“How do I tell the difference between trauma symptoms and psychosis?”
“What if my symptoms have been misunderstood?”
This service is designed for individuals who have lived a long time in complexity — often with multiple past diagnoses, chronic trauma histories, or treatment plans that never fully fit.
If you’ve felt misunderstood, mislabeled, or “hard to diagnose,” you’re in the right place.

Assessment Tools I Use
To ensure accuracy, I use validated, gold-standard tools specifically designed to assess trauma-related dissociation:
TSCC or similar trauma screening tools – identifies trauma patterns and symptom clusters
MID (Multidimensional Inventory of Dissociation) – a 218-item self-report that provides objective, supplemental data
SCID-D – the gold standard structured interview for dissociative disorders
A comprehensive clinical interview – integrating history, lived experience, and all standardized results
Combined, these tools allow for a diagnostic clarity that general assessments cannot offer.
(Note: I do not provide IQ testing, learning disability evaluations, or neuropsychological assessments.)
