EXTENDED PSYCHOTHERAPY IN BURLINGTON
Private Therapy Deep Dives in Wisconsin
Some work needs more than fifty minutes.
Private Therapy Deep Dives offer focused, extended psychotherapy for women who want protected time to work with one recurring pattern, unresolved wound, or important life decision—without stopping just as something meaningful begins.
In person in Burlington, Wisconsin
You don’t have to stop just as you reach something important.
Traditional weekly therapy can be meaningful, but some concerns are difficult to approach in brief increments. You may spend much of the session settling in, explaining the context, or finally connecting with what you feel—only to realize that time is almost up.
A Private Therapy Deep Dive creates a protected block of time to stay with one important issue. Rather than trying to address everything, we choose a clear focus and give it the time, attention, and pacing it deserves.
Bring the place where you feel most stuck.
You don’t need to arrive with your entire life story organized. We’ll identify one meaningful focus for the time we have together.
A Private Therapy Deep Dive may be helpful when you want focused support with:
• A relationship crisis or important decision
• A recurring pattern you understand but still can’t seem to change
• An unresolved wound that has been stirred up by something happening now
• Shutting down, going numb, or losing access to what you feel during conflict
• Persistent self-doubt or difficulty trusting your own perceptions
• A transition, boundary, or conversation you want to approach from a steadier place
A focused process, held from preparation through integration.
Prepare
We begin with a 60-minute preparation session to clarify your focus, understand what you hope will change, and determine how to approach the Deep Dive at a pace that feels manageable.
Go Deep
We meet in person in Burlington for a three-, four-, or five-hour psychotherapy session centered on the issue we selected. There is time to slow down, follow what emerges, take breaks, and adjust the pace without watching the clock every few minutes.
Integrate
We reconnect for a 60- to 90-minute integration session approximately one week later. Together, we reflect on what shifted, notice what is still unfolding, and identify how you want to carry the work into your daily life.
A Deep Dive is not a promise of instant resolution. It is an intentionally spacious psychotherapy process designed to help you engage one important area with greater continuity, depth, and support.
Choose the Amount of Time Your Work Needs
Each option includes preparation, an extended in-person psychotherapy session, and dedicated integration afterward. We’ll choose the length based on your focus, your readiness, and the amount of time likely to support the work without rushing or overextending you.

You Don’t Have to Know How Many Hours You Need
You may already know the issue you’re ready to approach differently, or you may simply know that one hour at a time no longer feels like enough.
During a complimentary consultation, we’ll talk about what is happening, what you hope will change, and whether a Private Therapy Deep Dive is the right next step. If it is, we’ll choose the length and focus together.
